Human Resource Management:
Human
resource management is the field of study in which we focus on the
human resources of the organization. Human resources include higher level intellectuals as
well as low level labor working in an organization. One thing we must keep in
mind that human resource is the most important key to success in any organization.
Because this is resource which functions all the other resources, without a
functioning and efficient human resource any organization cannot be effective
in productivity.

Human
resource management (HRM) is the practice of recruiting, hiring, deploying
and managing an organization's employees. HRM is often referred to simply as
human resources (HR).
The
key terms used in this concept are “Human”, “Resource”, and “Management”.
Human: stands for human personals of the
organization.
Resource: refers to available resources for
the aim of productivity, which are mostly limited.
Management: Management is utilization of the
limited resources with best rationalization for efficiency in the productivity.
Human resource management is the strategic approach to the
effective and efficient management of
people in a company or organization such that they help their business gain a
competitive advantage. Human Resource management aims to provide a pathway to
the workforce of the organization and allocate them according to their
expertise for maximum gain of the organization. The activities of the workforce from hiring to
firing is watched, managed, evaluated, trained and developed by the department
of human resource management. By conducting the training and development
programs in the organization, Human
resource management department enables and polish the knowledge, skills and
abilities of the workforce, which in result give the organization competitive
advantages.

of HRM in a business:
The
HR department is backbone of the whole business in any kind of the organization. The functions of the business are planed and allocated by the
human resource department. The function of the HRM starts from the hiring the
skilled workforce according to job duties. Moreover, it works for the
improvement of leadership qualities, works for adjusting the employee’s
retention, focuses on the goals of the organization and plans for the long term maturity of the organization
better than the current situation.
The
role of HR Management is also important at the
productivity levels. HR department works for the time management, and oversees employee’s
performance and keep a check and balance on their work, which stuck the
employees to be focus on their work. The HR department remains in the top level
strategic decision making process, because it have key role in functioning the
workforce. The function of human resource management is to
keep in look and support the organization's needs for the operation of
business to increase the rate of the growth of the organization. For this
purpose HR begins to focus on competency-based recruitment, unexpected events,
pay grades, correspondence, and the organization’s long-term strategy. It also focuses
on the performance appraisal of the employees. It checks the performance of the
employees and conduct training and development session if needed. The efficiently working skill full
workers are retained loyal by the HR policies.

planning about the human resource allocation, organizing that workforce
according the best suitable structure, directing towards the goals and

training and development of the human resource of the organization.

time of hiring according to their skills, knowledge, abilities and expertise, so
it helps to achieve individual goals as well as organizational goals and social
objectives.

department is vast. The study of management, psychology,
communication, economics and sociology also linked with study of human resource
management.
